Fantastic Friends

Fantastic Friends was created by Marissa Hacker with the goal of giving "Tweens And Teens with Special Needs an opportunity to socialize, relax, have fun, and let their inner star shine through!"

Launched in 2010, Fantastic Friends hosts social gatherings and events to bring together individuals with special needs, friends, volunteers and more in a comfortable setting that is free from the challenges that many attendees may normally face.

Throughout the year, Fantastic Friends brings together members of the Southern New Jersey community to interact with individuals with special needs, and going to different locations and participating in varying activities. Girlfriendz magazine published a wonderful article about Fantastic Friends in their September/October 2013 edition, and NBC 10 interviewed Melissa Hacker, please check both of them out!

The group has big plans to continue to grow and offer more services, eventually helping more people of all ages and expanding to other areas. Please visit the Fantastic Friends website to learn more about what they do or to get involved.

If you would like to contribute to Fantastic Friends and help them continue to expand the work they do in the community, checks can be made out to "Jewish Community Foundation, Inc." and in the memo please write "Fantastic Friends." Checks can be mailed or delivered to:
