The Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. offers grants to non-profit organizations serving the Southern New Jersey community, including Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey agencies, synagogues, Jewish day schools, and secular non-profits. These grants are awarded twice annually, during our Spring and Fall JCF Grants cycles.

 

The JCF provides funding of up to $5,000 (an increase from our previous maximum of $3,600) for each grant application that is approved by our Grants Committee and Board of Trustees, and applicants can apply for funding for more than one program per cycle. Each program is eligible to receive funding over the course of up to three cycles (usually once per year for three years), with a new application required for each cycle.

 

Funding is provided primarily for new and innovative programming and services benefiting residents of Burlington, Camden, and/or Gloucester counties in South Jersey. Grants are not intended to supplement or duplicate existing funding or ongoing operating budgets of an organization or programs and services presently in existence.

Step 1. Ready to get started with your Grant Application?
After downloading the JCF Grants Application (new as of Fall 2023), please be sure to save your application document as you use it and before submitting. 
To accompany the application, please refer to our document with Instructions for the JCF Grants Application. This document is intended to guide you through the questions as you complete the application.
 
 
Step 2. Join Us for a Complimentary Grants Workshop (attendance is optional but encouraged):
 

We invite representatives from organizations who are planning to apply to the JCF's Grants Cycle to take part in a Grants Workshop for tips, guidelines, and Q & A. 

If you are considering applying for a JCF Grant,

we welcome you to join us for our

Grants Workshop on

Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 9 AM.

The workshop is planned to be held via Zoom,

with an in-person option to be determined.

The workshop is intended for any prospective applicant to learn more about the process and discuss any questions you may have about your grant proposal.

Important Notes before Applying:

 

  • The JCF's Grants Committee will review all applications and the JCF will be in touch with you when decisions are finalized. This process may take 6-8 weeks in total, thank you for your patience and understanding.

  • The JCF may follow up with you regarding your application, in the event that more information or clarity is needed. We do this to ensure that our committee has the best available overview of your request.
