Post-high school education and experiential travel can be life-changing opportunities.
In order to help community members achieve these dreams, many generous donors to the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. have collectively managed to provide more dollars in scholarship awards this year than any prior year over the course of more than two decades that the JCF has provided financial scholarships.
It's a fantastic record to break.
With the 2026 JCF Scholarship Awards cycle now complete, the JCF's Scholarship Committee, Board of Trustees, and staff are thrilled to share that a total of over $58,000 has been awarded to benefit 39 individuals from Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties who are enrolled in educational or travel programs for the upcoming year. This award total triples the dollar amount that JCF provided 10 years ago and close to doubles the amount provided seven years ago.
Mazel tov to all awardees and thank you to all award donors!
The bulk of JCF Scholarship Award dollars are made possible thanks to endowment funds that spinoff annual financial support. Of note, this year, three new endowment funds were added to the 13 existing endowment funds in the JCF Scholarship Awards lineup, and several private donors contributed one-time donations to further grow this year's pool of available funding.
The JCF looks forward to hosting its annual Scholarship Awards Reception in June to celebrate the awardees and thank the award donors.
The list of scholarship awards is as follows (new funds indicated in parentheses), along with the name(s) of each applicant who received that financial award:
