3 Life & Legacy Updates: Free Thank You Event, Leadership Conference, HGF Visit

Three positive Life & Legacy updates in Southern New Jersey from the JCF to share, let's dive right in:

RSVP Today for JCF's Free Legacy Thank You Event: March 17

The JCF is excited to thank individuals who have committed to leaving a legacy gift via Life & Legacy or who previously established an endowment fund with the JCF, by hosting a complimentary event in conjunction with the Katz JCC's Jewish Film Festival on Monday, March 17 at 6 pm.

The program will feature light bites, a screening of the documentary film ALLIANCE about Jewish immigrants in Vineland in the late 1800s, and a panel discussion after. To reserve your free ticket, RSVP to Mike Staff at mstaff@jfedsnj.org or 856-673-2528.

Special thanks to Life & Legacy sponsor in South Jersey, SEI.

Attend the Life & Legacy Leadership Conference: April 28-29

A cohort of legacy team leaders from Southern New Jersey looks forward to attending this year's Life & Legacy Leadership Conference hosted by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) on April 28-29 in Springfield MA, and we welcome other SNJ Jewish community leaders to join as well!

The conference features compelling expert speakers and offers plenty of time to network with volunteer and professional colleagues from across the continent representing JCFs, Federations, synagogues, day schools, and agencies.

If you would like to attend the conference or have any questions about it, please contact Mike Staff at 856-673-2528 or mstaff@jfedsnj.org.

JCF Thanks Legacy Experts Kathy Sarlson & Nicole Caine

On February 18, Kathy Sarlson (pictured, left), the National Director of Life & Legacy for HGF, and her colleague, Nicole Caine (pictured, right), a Community Consultant, visited South Jersey for a very productive day of legacy giving discussions.

In the afternoon, they joined Executive Director David Snyder and Assistant Director Mike Staff in a series of meetings with legacy team leaders from six local Jewish organizations to talk about their Life & Legacy success stories, challenges, and questions. The conversations were wide-ranging and beneficial to the attendees, and Kathy and Nicole welcome the chance to come back and meet with more legacy teams in the near future.

Then, in the evening, Kathy and Nicole presented to the JCF Board to get them up to speed with the latest and greatest news pertaining to Life & Legacy and how board members can leave their individual legacies for the JCF and broader Jewish community.

From all of us at the JCF, thank you, Kathy and Nicole, for visiting SNJ to lead legacy giving conversations that will have lasting impact for future generations.
