Have You Established Your Jewish Legacy?
On behalf of the entire Board and staff of the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc., THANK YOU to the hundreds of individuals who have committed to creating a legacy that will benefit Jewish South Jersey for many generations.
Since launching the Life & Legacy initiative of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation in SNJ in 2014, a total of nearly 650 Letters of Intent have been submitted to the JCF from people of varied ages, backgrounds, and income levels who have committed to a legacy gift. Indeed, anybody can establish a Jewish legacy, and it can even cost nothing during one's lifetime by including a gift in a will, estate plan, life insurance policy, or IRA.
These Letters of Intent are estimated to secure over $23.6 million in future expected assets that will help grow endowment funds with the JCF. These endowment funds, in turn, would provide over $1 million in annual income to 20+ local Jewish organizations. Each donor can choose which organization(s) they support with their legacy gift.
This enthusiastic response is testament to the strength and vibrancy of our South Jersey Jewish community's programs, services, and operations. Mazel tov and thank you to all who do so much for Jewish SNJ!
