Local Residents May Now Apply for JCF Scholarship Awards

If you or someone you know currently reside in Burlington, Camden, or Gloucester County (NJ) and will be pursuing post-high school education or experiential travel between summer 2026 and spring 2027, the JCF Scholarship Awards application is now open thru Friday, March 6, 2026 at 4 p.m. to apply for financial assistance.

Here are some highlights:


  • The JCF offers numerous awards with different criteria that will total an estimated $50,000 to benefit deserving recipients.


  • Applicants seeking financial assistance to pursue post-high school education or experiential travel are invited to apply now thru Friday, March 6 at 4 p.m.


  • Full details about JCF Scholarship Awards are available on our Apply for Scholarship Awards webpage.


  • To get started: All applicants must apply via our online portal.


  • The JCF's volunteer Scholarship Committee reviews all applications and will announce the final results by early May 2026.


  • Please note the launch of three new awards this year:


    • Stuart & Marylee Alperin Jewish Communal Service Professional Development Award: To help provide college or graduate school level support to individuals pursuing a career in Jewish Communal Service who are enrolled or planning to enroll in defined curriculum programs in accredited colleges and/or universities leading to a degree/certificate as preparation for a career in Jewish Communal Service. Preferential consideration will be made to any applicant related to a member in “good standing” at Congregation Kol Ami in Cherry Hill, NJ.


    • Branfman Family Scholarship Award: For students of all faiths and backgrounds residing in Burlington, Camden or Gloucester Counties who plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in post-high school education in the United States.


    • Stacey & Edward Rivkin Aspiration Award Endowment Fund: To provide financial assistance for Jewish individuals who will enroll in post-high school education while demonstrating financial need. Preference for students being raised in a single parent, foster parent, or orphaned environment.
