During a memorable evening with some 350 community members in attendance, the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey hosted its biannual Love Impact Awards at Congregation Beth El in April, honoring distinguished volunteers that serve the Federation and its agencies.
Among the honorees were JCF Board member and Life & Legacy Committee Chairperson Jodi Levine and her husband, Neil, who together received the inaugural Love Legacy Award for their commitment to our Jewish community's future through endowment funds and legacy giving.
During the program, Jodi and Neil Levine were spotlighted in a poignant video created by the Federation's Marketing Department. The video can be enjoyed at right. Visit the Jewish Community Voice to read all about the event and the full slate of incredible and deserving awardees.
In 2025, the Levines established the PJ Library Endowment Fund with the JCF, offering a matching gift totaling up to $75,000 over three years, where the Levines will match any contributions added to the fund by 50%.
In addition, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, which founded and continues to operate PJ Library, agreed to another match of 25% for contributions up to a sum of $1 million.
These two matching gifts enable a donor to give, for example, $100 and in effect turn that donation into a $175 gift that will be invested in the endowment fund. Each year in the future, the fund will pay out income to support PJ Library in SNJ. The goal of the fund is to help ensure that PJ Library can remain free for young families in South Jersey for many generations, enabling young children up to age eight to receive Jewish-themed books each month.

Thank you to Jodi and Neil for your inspiring leadership, and to all supporters of the PJ Library Endowment Fund. Your generosity will positively impact countless children and their families in so many ways and for so many decades on end.
