Spring is here (over 80 degrees in SNJ today!) and the season is ripe for the Spring 2021 JCF Grants Cycle.
The JCF's Grants Committee, chaired by Rhona Cohen and Andi Levin, met recently to review applications that were submitted by local nonprofits and synagogues to request funding for new and innovative programs and services to benefit the Southern New Jersey Jewish and secular community.
Following the committee's approval, the JCF Board of Trustees also approved the awards, which are listed at right.
In total, the committee and JCF Board approved nearly $32,000 in grants for 20 separate programs.
Additionally, the Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey and the following JCF donors independently contributed a sum of over $16,000 to support JCF Grants:
Steven & Stefanie Cohen Donor Advised Fund
Amy & Barney Kaplan Donor Advised Fund
Ann & Daniel Wolf
We thank these contributors for their financial support in making this an incredibly successful cycle!
The JCF also thanks all organizations that applied, we look forward to seeing these exciting new initiatives benefit our community in the forthcoming months.
