About Life & Legacy in Southern New Jersey:
Since 2014, over 600 donors have committed to leaving a legacy gift through the Life & Legacy initiative of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. To date, over $1 million in current and after-lifetime gifts have been contributed to endowment funds benefiting the SNJ Jewish community, and growing.
Each legacy gift received will ultimately be added to a designated endowment fund with the JCF to benefit one of over 20 South Jersey Jewish organizations that participate in Life & Legacy, spinning off annual income for future generations.
Interested in creating your own Jewish Legacy? Here's how it works:
Step 1: You can sign a Letter of Intent to indicate that you plan to make a legacy commitment via a current or after-lifetime gift, and submit the form to your selected organization(s) or to the JCF directly.
Step 2: If not already established, you will implement the legacy gift, whether through a bequest in a will, beneficiary designation in a life insurance policy or IRA, or by other means. Once completed, we ask you to complete and submit our Legacy Gift Confirmation form to show that you have "reached the finish line" in formalizing your gift.
Leaving a legacy gift can be simple to do and cost nothing during your lifetime. Let us help you ensure that your philanthropic wishes can be met.
